First Category Total Overhaul of Blast Furnice # 10 of MMK, PJSC, shaft lining.

At the end of June 2022, Refracon Installations completed blast furnace # 10 shaft lining overhaul at Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel Plant.

To carry out the work, shotcreting from mark +14.100 to mark +35.645 was used, as well as injection of refractory concrete from mark +15.525 to mark +16.085. in the furnace casing.

In total, 1,157 tons of concrete were poured during the overhaul of the blast furnace lining. This is the second project in partnership with MMK, PJSC, in 2022 alone. Long-term cooperation is based on high standards of work performance, the use of advanced technologies and modern equipment, which allows us to carry out challenging projects fast and efficiently.
