Completion of Total Overhaul of BF No. 5 Lining for NLMK, PJSC,

On October 31, 2025, repairs of the refractory lining of the tuyere zone and the shaft of NLMK’s blast furnace No. 5 were completed. Under the project, about 600 tons of high-quality refractory material produced by “Seven Refractories”, LLC, (shotcrete concretes and self-expanding refractory concretes for injection between the furnace body and refrigerators) was placed.

On November 02, 2025, blast furnace No. 5 was put to work. It is especially pleasant to note that the overhaul of the blast furnace coincided with the 15th anniversary of our supplier, “Seven Refractories”, whose reliability and quality have become the foundation for successful work. Our partnership and joint achievements open up new opportunities for our further development.
