Repair of Air Heater No. 11 of Blast Furnace No. 3, for “EVRAZ ZSMK”, JSC

December 8, 2025, “Refracon Installations”, LLC, specialists completed restoration of the refractory lining of Air Heater No. 11 of Blast Furnace No. 3 of the Blast Furnace Shop combustion chamber for “EVRAZ ZSMK”.

As part of this project, our company carried out a range of works, such as on site dismantling of brickwork and monolithic refractory lining, stripping and surface preparation of fire-brick lining, installation of holdfasts, mechanized shotcreting on damaged or missing sections of brickwork, and building a protective layer. The total volume of shotcrete applied amounted to 125 tons.
